Exhibition & Pop-Up Art Agency — We Are What We See
Co-curated by Lidia Ravviso and Auronda Scalera, We Are What We See was shaped around an intimate inquiry into identity as everyday acts of seeing, being seen, and the fragile negotiation between inner and outer selves. Through a lens of vulnerability, the show invited reflection on how identity is composed of moments of exposure and withdrawal, clarity and blur.
Over 30 international artists spanning painting, photography, sculpture, illustration, digital art, and NFTs responded to this core tension. Featured voices included Floria Sigismondi, Sandro Kopp, Michaela Stark, Apollonia Saintclair, Serwah Attafuah, Sasha Katz, and Johnny Hostile, among others.
Many works foregrounded non-normative bodies and gender fluidity, giving space to intimacy, and the nuanced textures of selfhood.
The exhibition design, developed with Andres Ros Roto, introduced an environment structured to echo the emotional logic of the works: soft transitions, shifting light, and spatial pauses that mirror the intimacy of encounter.
